CARE is non-governmental organization established in 2014 which advocates for human rights through identification of their violation. CARE work to improve communities by addressing problems of poverty, exploitation, violence, discrimination, harmful cultural practices, health, and justice for children and women.
CARE has a network of over 500 members in 3 tehsils of district vehari who help carry out CARE’s mission. CARE aim to make grassroot network of youth to raise voice to pressure policy maker, government, influential and individual human rights abusers to denounce….

CARE Objectives

 

  • To assure the gender-based equality and equity in Pakistan.
  • To sensitize people about Peace and harmony/ issues in Pakistan.
  • To rehabilitate the victims of natural disasters like flood, earthquake, pandemic etc.
  • To organize and provide social rehabilitation services for people with disabilities, their family members, careers, the elderly and people living on their own who have disabilities.
  • To improve the quality of life of women and marginalized people through Human Rights education, legal Aid & awareness and provision of best care services.

Beneficiaries

 
  • Sewing Machines
    232 sewing machines were distributed to 16 males, 214 females, and 2 transgender individuals.
  • Wheelchairs
    25 wheelchairs were distributed: 3 to females and 22 to males.
  • Rajanpur's flood relief rashan bags
    A total of 500 bags were distributed to both males and females.
